Ok so I started doing some research on donating to the Haiti Relief fund. So far I haven't decided who I want to go trough. There's the red cross but i don't believe all funds collected are send directly to Haiti. So Im think I want to do my own fundraiser. I want to order wrist bands that say Haiti Relief and sell them for donations. This way I can assure that all the money goes to where I want it to. As for the trees nothing in Nevada.. isn't that horrible unless I'm looking in all the wrong places. I have order recycling bins for my house and they are on there way :) Lets see what I can find out about recycling at my school.

So what is PlanIT Green? I am going to start a personal project. Every day I want to do something to contribute to preserving and making this world a better place. I can't say that I have any solar panels and I don't drive a hybrid, but I do care about my planet and want to take the steps to better it. I plan to start recycling every day. I hope to set up recycling bins in my college and I want to set up a haiti relief fund. I have so many ideas and dreams of how our world can be, but I don't always no how to pursue them. One person can't do it all though, like they save it takes a village to raise a child, and it's going to take the effect of the entire human race to keep our planet alive. I wonder how much of an impact can I make if I truly dedicated myself to helping our planet and the people on it.

So I plan to do some research tonight on how to start the Haiti Relief Fund. I have always heard people talk about planting trees to help our environment but I really want to find out where and when I can do this. I think it would fun and I no its not a huge act but little steps add up to big steps.
